Description of the job Scottish Sea Farms has a summer placement opportunity for a Laboratory Technician to support fish health and quality monitoring work. Working closely with the lab team, the successful candidate will help deliver daily water sampling and analysis across Shetland sites, focusing on the identification and enumeration of harmful plankton and jellyfish species. The role also supports staff training and provides technical input on fish health and welfare. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone with a strong interest in marine biology or aquaculture.
